I was surfing the net and as usual looking for some latest updates about the 2010 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. I went to Tennis.com to look for some latest news as its article entitled The Fan Wars caught my attention.

It headlined: Roger and Rafa engage in a friendly rivalry, but the same can't be said for their devoted fan bases. Steve Tignor and Kamakshi Tandon discuss the most familiar and most inexhaustible topic in tennis.

I clicked the link of the article in its front page and it directed me to the article entitled The Rally: Those Guys Again to read the content of the intriguing headline. To my surprise, I enjoyed reading the whole story.

London will staged the year-end championships for the second year, of course, the O2 Arena will surely be full packed as on the first day of the round robin match features Robin Soderling and London's very own Andy Murray. How exciting is that as a treat for fans?

As this eight-man field will be playing round robin matches, the top two players in the respective group will advanced in the semifinals. From then on, will be able to witnessed the much anticipated match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal? Hopefully. It is interesting to know who will end the year with flying colors.

As ATP Council is working on the decision about the ATP calendar which most players are wishing for the season to be shortened, some top players still have a schedule of activities left in their own calendar before going on a vacation for the worldwide feast. Novak Djokovic will lead Serbia to play the Davis Cup final against France. How about our top two leading players of 2010, Federer and Nadal? Is it interesting to know what's still cooking on their table?

But tennis fans around the world, worry no more. Even they fail to meet in the semifinal round or the championship match at the season finale, we can still see them sharing one court together battling each other to give us a treat before Christmas. Sound nice, right? Yes it is, as they are scheduled to play two exhibition matches in Zurich and Madrid on December 21 and 22, respectively. Proceeds of each exhibition matches will go to their own foundations, the Roger Federer Foundation and the Rafa Nadal Foundation. Too good of a rival, isn't it?

Roger Federer Foundation and Rafael Nadal Foundation exhibition match

What's nice about it is that, tennis fans are been longing to see them play with each other sharing one court together since this year's ATP Masters 1000 Madrid at the The Caja Majica. As their fierce competition on court significantly translated into a friendly competition off-court, this gives us more than 100 reasons to stay tune on TV this holiday season. It's something to watch out for. Of course, there is no guaranteed records to break and titles to fight for, and wins to be counted in, as the true winner will none other than the beneficiaries of their respective charitable foundation. Truly, it's a nice gift to give this Christmas.

But before the exhibition matches happen, the world top two players offer us something unexpected moments, behind their glorious and fruitful careers. Honestly, I never thought this is possible, but Federer and Nadal made it really possible. After more or less 40 weeks of competitions on court, travelling around the world, and of course, facing too much pressures, they can still show us the lighter side of them.

This is so hilarious! From the moment, I've seen their faces on this video until the end, I can't stop laughing at these two guys. The moment I've watched this clip, it already hit more than 1.2 million views. So great indeed!

Federer and Nadal, not just display their skills and talents and give us high quality and breathtaking matches, but they also give back! Two great champions and role models on court and in life.
