NOTE: This is my own version of draw analysis on 2010 Wimbledon. In this self-version of draw analysis, I will pick who I think will be 2010 Wimbledon Men's Champion.

Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam event played on grass is celebrating its 124th year of staging its Championships. With the game has evolve in recent years, Wimbledon is the most prestigious tennis event. Many players are dying hard to claim the most coveted crown in Grand Slam event.

The dominated color of green grass to the shades of white outfits of each player, All England Club will be witnessing another fantastic season of scintillating and exciting matches as well as unexpected and stunning upsets. Of course, history will surely be rewritten again.

Who will win the 2010 Wimbledon Men's Singles Champion? That is the big question making buzz around tennis world. Experts have already made their predictions and the bets for the top ranked players were in.

Roger Federer
2009 Wimbledon Gentlemen's Champion

Last year's final has been a record-breaking win for defending champion and top seed Roger Federer, as he beat Andy Roddick for the third time, 16-14 in the fifth set, to record its longest fifth set in Wimbledon history.

Rafael Nadal, the 2008 Wimbledon Champion and the No.2 seed, is back after clinching his fifth French Open title. Nadal, who is looking to add another Wimbledon to his collection after not playing last year due to knee tendinitis, is looking strong as he once was.

No.3 seed Novak Djokovic is still looking for his second Grand Slam title, while No.4 seed Andy Murray is poised to end British Grand Slam drought since 1936. What are their chances?

After the conclusion of 2010 French Open, players head to grass court tourneys to feel the surface and with this transition, new contenders appear. Do they have a shot for the title?

The Quarters - Part 1
The defending champion and top seed Federer is back to regain his title and will be bidding to capture his seventh Wimbledon crown, tying William Renshaw and Pete Sampras. Federer, who opens his title defense against unseeded Colombian Alejandro Falla and could possibly meet unseeded Chilean in the Nicolas Massu in the second round. The unseeded Serbian Janko Tipseravic is no strange to Federer, as he made the Swiss to work hard in 2008 Australian Open third round, 10-8 in the fifth set. They could possibly meet in the third round or it could possibly be No.30 seed Tommy Robredo, who plays his first round match against unseeded Aussie Peter Luczak.

2010 French semifinalist and No.16 seed Jurgen Melzer will play against unseeded Jamaican Dustin Brown in his opening match and could likely set up a clash with No.22 seed Feliciano Lopez for a third round encounter. Lopez, who downed Nadal at 2010 AEGON Classic before falling to eventual finalist Mardy Fish, will open his Wimbledon campaign against lucky loser Jesse Levine. The winner of this possible matchup will book a meeting with Federer for a place in the quarterfinals.

The top seed is heading to a new semifinal streak with ease. His probable quarterfinal opponent will be No.12 seed Tomas Berdych, who could probably plays No.20 seed Stanislas Wawrinka in the third round and a potential fourth round encounter with the winner of the match between No.7 seed Nikolay Davydenko and No.31 seed Victor Hanescu, who plays his opening match against Russian wildcard Andrey Kuznetsov. No.7 seed Russian, coming from a layoff due to injury, might be block by fellow Russian Igor Andreev in the second round.

Federer will most likely have an easy pass through the semifinals. Of course, the dark horses, the sleepers, and the floaters, won't be counted out cause they can do some damages and upsets in the draw and Federer, who is vying for seventh Wimbledon title, is no exception.

Semifinalist: Federer
Player to watch: Kuznetsov, the 2009 Wimbledon Boys Champion, earned a wildcard entry for winning the title last year. He opens his match against No.31 seed Hanescu. Can he pull an upset?

The Quarters - Part 2
In this quarter of the draw, do we expect No.3 seed Djokovic and No.5 seed Roddick battling it out for a place in the finals? Maybe, but not quite.

No.3 seed plays his opening match against unseeded Belgian Olivier Rochus, who stunned him in his opening at 2010 Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. I smell some upset here? But if the Serb progresses, he could meet adept serve-and-volleyer and unseeded American Taylor Dent in the second round to set up a potential third round encounter with No.28 seed Albert Montanes, who downed the No.1 seed Federer at 2010 Estoril Open semifinals.

The previous two rounds might a short work for Djokovic, but a big battle is about to happen. That is, if he meet either No.21 seed Gael Monfils, who opens his match against unseeded Argentine Leonardo Mayer, or 2010 Gerry Weber Champion and No.15 seed Lleyton Hewitt, who will play against unseeded Argentine Maximo Gonzalez in his opening match.

Monfils and Hewitt have a smooth road going into third round for their possible matchup. The winner of this matchup could possible face the No.3 seed for a place in the quarterfinals. Djokovic, who is producing mediocre results of late, most notably his quarterfinal match at Roland Garros against Melzer, has a winning record to both Monfils with 0-4 and Hewitt with 1-3. Against Monfils, he will have a little tough time but most likely will progressed, but against Hewitt, who is undefeated on grass, will surely give much trouble. Will Djokovic escaped Hewitt's challenge?

The other half of this quarter is the Roddick's winnable match, who will play fellow American Rajeev Ram in the first round. That is, if he could only play like he once did in the final a year ago, there could be no reason why he should not book a spot in the semifinals. However, he needs to face a possible challenge from 2010 AEGON International Champion and unseeded Frenchman Michael Llodra in the second round and a likely encounter with No.29 seed Philipp Kohlschrieber.

Is Roddick have been made to work hard enough? Not really. Roddick's real challenge will be his possible fourth round encounter against either No.17 seed Ivan Ljubicic, who defeated the American in the finals at 2010 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, or No.11 seed Marin Cilic.

Ljubicic will play his first round match against unseeded Polish Michal Przysiezny with a possible second round encounter against unseeded Argentine Horacio Zeballos. But No.11 seed is most likely facing an upset going into third round where he could possibly face the Croat. Cilic, who plays his opening match against unseeded German Florian Mayer, will be probably scheduled to play unseeded American Mardy Fish, who plays Australian qualifier Bernard Tomic.

Fish, the dark horse in this section, will most likely spoil the possible meeting of Ljubicic and fellow Croat Cilic. If Fish advanced, he could set a fourth round encounter with his friend Roddick. With Roddick's winning record against Fish, this sets up a possible clash against the winner of the match between the No.3 seed Djokovic and the No.15 seed Hewitt. Hewitt is currently carry a high level of confidence after ending his 15-match losing streak against Federer in Halle. The real battle is on as a spot in the semifinals is on the line.

Semifinalist: Hewitt
Player to watch: Tomic, the youngest player in the draw, opens his match against American Fish. Can he pull some upset and make a breakthrough?

The Quarters - Part 3
British community has been longing for a Grand Slam champion to emerge since 1936. A more than 70 years of Grand Slam title drought is too much to wait for. And with the emergence of Murray, the No.4 seed, could change all of it.

Having played in two Grand Slam finals, Murray hasn't captured a title yet. Yes, he both lose that chances against a man where he has a winning record, Federer. In both times, Murray has been thrashed in straight sets. Until the world No.4, experience a little bit of a slump.

With such not so good performance coming at All England Club, British community is seeing a glimpse of hope that one day their homegrown talent will raised a trophy's champion in front of them. Could be that day in the next coming week? It could be. And the could be no special place if Murray wins Wimbledon Men's Singles title in the front of his hometown crowd and supporters.

What are Murray's chances of winning Wimbledon? The pressure is on again. Can he handle it?

The No.4 seed Murray will be giving his hometown crowd and supporters enough to cheer for as he opens his campaign against unseeded Czech Jan Hajek. Murray will most likely won't be troubled even to a possible third round encounter with No.26 seed Gilles Simon. This will be an smooth sailing for Murray going through fourth round.

Who will be his opponent then? For a possible fourth round encounter, it will probably be a tight battle between No.14 seed Juan Carlos Ferrero and No.18 seed Sam Querrey. Querrey, the 2010 AEGON Classic Champion will be playing his first round match against the 2010 Unicef Open Champion and unseeded Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky, while Ferrero will open his match against unseeded Belgian Xavier Malisse.

Querrey has been dominant against Fish in the final at Queen's Club, as Ferrero has not been performing well since claiming two title during European claycourt season. It is highly an advantage for Querrey and will possible book a meeting with Murray for a spot in the quarterfinals.

In the top half of this quarter, No.8 seed Fernando Verdasco along with No.10 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, No.19 seed Nicolas Almagro, and No.32 seed Julien Benneteau will be battling it out to grab a spot in the semifinals.

The potential third round match match between Tsonga and Almagro could be spoiled by the 2010 AEGON International finalist and unseeded Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, unseeded Swiss Marco Chiudinelli, and unseeded Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov, while the potential third round match between Verdasco and Benneteau could be spoiled by unseeded Spaniard Pere Riba-Madrid and British wildcard Jamie Baker.

It is relatively two Spaniards will possibly clash to play against Querrey or Murray for a semifinal spot. It much likely Murray's opportunity to be in the semifinals again. Will he let spoilers steal the show and maybe the crown?

Semifinalist: Murray
Player to watch: Baker, will be try to give Great Britain a glimpse of hope to be a contender for the title.
Match to watch: The opening match between Querrey and Stakhovsky, who both claim their first grass court title in 2010 AEGON Championships and 2010 Unicef Open, respectively. Who can continue the momentum at All England Club?

The Quarters - Part 4
Who would ever thought that in a matter of few weeks, No.6 seed Robin Soderling will possibly meet No.2 seed Nadal again in Wimbledon semifinals? This might be one of the most anticipated match in this quarter. Are we expecting different results this time since their finals match at Stade Roland Garros?

No.2 seed Nadal plays his opening round match against the Japanese wildcard Kei Nishikori. Nishikori, who is back at a Grand Slam main draw and was tipped by Nadal a future top 10 player, but due to injury halted his progress. How unlucky for Nishikori to play a man who is currently in red-hot form and will most likely dominate men's tennis for years to come?

Nadal won't be rattled even in his possible meeting with unseeded American James Blake in the second round. But the real battle will be on the line when the Spaniard possibly meet either No.23 John Isner or No.13 seed Mikhail Youzhny in the fourth round, which could possibly spoiled by unseeded Thiemo De Bakker of The Netherlands.

On the other hand, the 2010 French Open finalist Soderling could face an early exit in his first round match against unseeded American Robby Ginepri. A possible third round encounter with No.25 seed Thomaz Bellucci, who plays fellow Brazilian Ricardo Mello in the opening round, will be underway. This might be a big trouble for the Swede, but having been in the quarterfinals a year ago will give him enough reason to advanced.

A possible fourth round match between Soderling and No.9 seed David Ferrer, who plays German wildcard Nicolas Kiefer, could be blocked by No.24 seed Marcos Baghdatis. Soderling, who ousted then-world No.1 Federer in French Open quarterfinals and ended Federer's 23 semifinal streak, will be looking to do the same performance in the quarterfinals when he faced now-world No.1 Nadal. Will Soderling be the man again to spoil the much anticipated final match between Nadal and Federer?

Semifinalist: Nadal
Match to watch: The opening match between Soderling and Ginepri, who both have a great run at recently concluded 2010 French Open. As they battle in the opening match, whose momentum will progress?

The Semifinals
Federer vs. Hewitt: Who would ever thought that these two former world No.1s and former Wimbledon champions will meet at All England Club for the fourth time since their last in 2008? In three previous occasions, Federer came out on top. Their last meeting in a Grand Slam final was at 2004 US Open, where Federer scored two bagels to defeat the Australian in straight sets and claiming his fourth Grand Slam title.

Now, here they are again, contesting each other for a place in Wimbledon finals. These two also met in 2005 Wimbledon semifinals and Federer won. Can Hewitt turn the tables around in favor of him? After defeating the Swiss Maestro at the 2010 Gerry Weber Open to end Federer's run of 15 consecutive wins, does Hewitt have an edge over Federer this time? Can Hewitt win another Grand Slam title? Federer in straight sets.

Murray vs. Nadal: This will be the 11th series of their growing rivalry. The two met in 2008 Wimbledon quarterfinals with Nadal emerged victorious in straight sets. Their last meeting was this year Australian Open quarterfinals with the Spaniard retired in the match, giving Murray an easy pass to semifinals.

Currently, it is a reversed fortune for these two players. With Nadal ending an 11th title drought at ATP Masters 1000 Monte-Carlo and no plans of stopping there until he collect his fifth French Open title, his seventh Grand Slam title overall. Unlike Murray, who has been experiencing a little bit of slump after being thrashed by Federer in the finals of 2010 Australian Open.

Nadal is back at All England Club will be playing the sole British hopeful for a spot in the finals. Can Murray match Nadal's red-hot form and pull out a win in front of his hometown crowd? Murray in tight four sets.

Finalist: Federer, Murray

The Finals
It's a third-time lucky! This will be Murray's and Federer's third Grand Slam final meeting overall and their second Grand Slam final meeting of the year. Murray has been disappointed twice and this time his chances is coming in favor of him. But meeting Federer in a Grand Slam final needs extra and careful attention in order to emerge triumphant.

Murray, who will be playing in front of his hometown crowd, will definitely add pressure and support to him. This is a real big chance. Will Murray let it slip through his hands? Definitely no, but how ready he is in handling pressure?

Federer and Murray has not played in any surface other than hard courts, their previous encounter at 2010 Australian Open, where Murray was thrashed by Federer in straight sets. This will be their first meeting on grass courts at All England Club. Murray's winning record against Federer 6-5 could give him extra confidence into the match. With both players have mediocre results post-Australian Open, who's game will come on top? Who's last shot will make the chair umpire said "Game. Set. Match."? Federer in tight five sets.

Champion: Roger Federer
